WHO WE ARE
Meet Kristen Moore
Founder of Moore Life Coaching & Ambitious Women Unite
Business & Leadership Advisor | Coach | Strategist

I've spent more than 20 years helping people, teams, and businesses figure out how to work better.
From corporate leadership and healthcare operations to business consulting and coaching, my career has been about solving problems, developing people, improving systems, and helping good ideas become something meaningful.
And I love what I do.
But I've learned something along the way:
Being good at what you do doesn't automatically mean the way you're doing it is good for you.
That's a big part of why Ambitious Women Unite exists.
I loved my work. But I wanted more life.

A few years ago, I stepped away from the traditional corporate path to build a career that felt more aligned with my purpose.
I was growing Moore Life Coaching, helping women break generational cycles and build healthier families, while also working with therapists, coaches, and entrepreneurs to strengthen their businesses, partnering with organizations whose missions I believed in, and serving in my church.
It was meaningful work. Work I was proud of.
And I was spending upwards of 12 hours a day at my computer doing it.
Here's the thing: I wasn't trying to escape a life I didn't love.
I have a beautiful life. I'm a wife, a mom, a woman of faith, and someone who values family, friendships, connection, and having a good time.
But I started realizing how much of that life was being squeezed into whatever time work left behind.
After a summer with more flexibility, time with my kids, and a relaxing family vacation, the return to school schedules made it impossible to ignore.
Why was it so complicated to attend back-to-school night? Why did spending time with my family or making room for myself require so much maneuvering?
I had worked hard to create a career I loved. But I was beginning to realize that the way I was working wasn't leaving enough room to enjoy the life I loved, too.
I didn't want to stop doing meaningful work. I wanted to rethink how I was doing it.
And as it turned out, I wasn't the only one.
I started seeing the same thing in the women I worked with.
Over the past two years, I've worked closely with coaches, therapists, and entrepreneurs, helping them strengthen their businesses, communicate their value, attract clients, develop their services, and create opportunities for growth.
Through my work with PR Stars and Journey Clinical, I've gained an even deeper understanding of the business and operational realities facing professionals whose work centers on caring for others.
And I kept noticing a pattern.
These were capable, ambitious women who cared deeply about their clients.
But after spending their days serving everyone else, they were spending their evenings managing everything it took to keep their businesses running.
The paperwork. The emails. The scheduling. The marketing. All the decisions that needed their attention.
And somewhere along the way, many had built businesses around everyone else's needs without realizing how little room they'd left for their own.
I recognized it because I'd done some of the same things.
The more I worked with these women, the clearer it became that the solution wasn't always another productivity tool or business strategy.
Sometimes we needed to go back and examine the decisions, expectations, and ways of thinking that shaped how their businesses operated in the first place.
Because if we don't rethink those things, we can end up building a more efficient version of the same exhausting business.
That's where my background makes a difference.
I bring together two areas of expertise that I believe belong in the same conversation: how businesses operate and how people think, decide, and lead.
My career has included leading multimillion-dollar programs, managing business operations, developing organizational strategies, improving customer experiences, and helping teams navigate change.
I've worked in healthcare and digital health, including provider operations, reimbursement processes, program growth, and the systems that support service delivery.
I've also spent years advising entrepreneurs on business growth, operations, and execution.
And since founding Moore Life Coaching in 2017, I've developed my coaching expertise through training in cognitive behavioral coaching, equity-centered coaching, and leadership development.
That combination allows me to look at the whole picture.
Sometimes you need stronger systems or a different way to deliver your services.
Sometimes you need to rethink your offers, strengthen your leadership, or make better use of your time and resources.
And sometimes you need to challenge the belief that caring deeply about your clients means you have to be available for everything.
Usually, it's a little of all three.
I help women figure out what's actually keeping their businesses from working the way they want—and what they can do about it.
Why Ambitious Women Unite?

Because I believe there's more to life than work.
And I don't believe we have to become less ambitious to experience it.
Ambitious Women Unite was founded by Moore Life Coaching to help women rethink how they work, lead, and build businesses so they have more room for the lives they want to live.
We're starting with women who own therapy or coaching practices, because I've seen firsthand how easily the business of caring for others can become all-consuming.
Whether you want to stay solo, grow a team, improve how your practice operates, or find a more sustainable way to serve your clients, I want you to know something:
You have more choices than you may realize.
Yes, there are professional responsibilities and requirements that matter. But within those boundaries, there's often room to rethink how you structure your business, deliver your services, manage your time, and lead.
And you deserve to be part of the equation when those decisions are made.
My faith shapes how I think about this work. I believe God gave us gifts and ambition for a purpose. But I also believe we're responsible for being intentional about the lives we're building.
I want women to succeed in business.
I also want them to have time to enjoy their families, nurture their marriages and friendships, pursue their interests, rest, laugh, and experience the lives they're working so hard to create.
Because what's the point of building something successful if you don't have room to enjoy it?
That's why we're here.
We're ambitious women. We care about our work. We care about our people.
And we're making room for our lives, too.
Ready to rethink how you're working?
You don't have to abandon what you've built to create something that works better for you.
